Four bumblebee yellow C900 convertibles, I believe all of which are the property of Roberti Motors (but don't qute me on that). |
What do you get when you have waaay too much free time and a spare gallon of Lightning Blue? A C900T Viggen, that's what. VERY pretty...drool... |
Here's me and the BFH with our loaned steed for the weekend, Norm's brand-new 9-5 Aero Wagon, with Klingon wheels and only 3500 miles at the start of the trip. I have GOT to get me one of these!! |

Preparing for potato madness... |
Mike White's rifled black potato gun. Schweeet... |
In a shocking turn of events, our fearless leader Uncle Bob tasted the wine from Akron and immediately went into what appeared to be cardiac arrest. Turns out it was just the so-called "wine" from Akron. |
|
End of the trip, a thousand miles later back in Cleveland Heights. Norm's roommate Dave is on the left (he owns a new 9-3 but rode with us instead) and my bestest bud Bruce, who rode along so he could bicycle across New England during the SOC. |
Bruce in front of the One Lap 9-3 at the beginning of his journey. Unbeknownst to him, there really ARE big hills in Connecticut! He was back less than two days later, exhausted. |
Bud Clark launching spuds into low earth orbit. Blackmail, anyone? |
|
Chip Lamb, the BFH and his concourse-winning 9000. VERY nice. The car, that is... |
Since newer 9-5s were shunted to the back of the group pipcture, I got this lovely shot of everyone lining up for the camera. Smile! |
More of the concours, held on a grassy baseball field. |
|
Lester commiting premeditated slaughter of yet another fine bottle of XO. A damn shame, that's what it is... |
Lester proving once again that a medical degree will get you everywhere in life that a bottle of vodka can't. |
Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light...a BFH. All hail the BFH! Hail, Hail!! |
